Heppner is home to excellent hunting and fishing recreational possibilities.

Heppner Regulated Hunt Area is nearly 40,000 acres of grassland, rangeland and timberland up the Willow Creek drainage from Heppner in both the Heppner and Fossil Units

Heppner is a mix of public and private lands. Some private land is Welcome to Hunt and some is Hunting by Permission only.
Before you buy your 2022 Big Game Hunting License, please know that some previous Welcome to Hunt HAS BEEN CHANGED for this year!
